Incubation · Residence

Live on campus, alongside the institute.

Some incubatees need to be physically close to the centre during a build cycle. Where possible, we offer residential space inside the IITG campus — shared hostels with basic amenities and proximity to the wider institute community.

Shared hostels

Residential space, basic amenities.

Based on availability, startup teams are provided residential space with basic amenities in shared hostels on the IITG campus.

Rooms are furnished and utilities are included. Access to campus dining and the library follows the institute's standard norms.

Allocation is per team and per programme stage — not per founder. We aim to keep teams housed together so that the build doesn't lose its rhythm.

Campus life

Live alongside the IITG community.

The hostel sits inside the IITG campus, which means our incubatees live next door to the students. Some of the best conversations and recruiting moments happen because of that proximity.

Campus life includes access to dining halls, sports facilities, and academic events — the kind of environment that keeps founders close to fresh ideas and fresh hires.

It is, in practice, the closest thing we offer to building inside a research lab while still running a company.

How to request residence

In your application, or mid-cohort.

If you'll need residence support to join a cohort, mention it in your application — it helps us plan early and gives us time to confirm availability.

If the need arises mid-cohort, raise it with the programme manager. We respond within a week with a real answer — yes or no, with reasoning.
