Bharat Innovates 2026, Nice
Quant Solar, an IITG-TIC incubated startup, represented India at Bharat Innovates in Nice, France — a global showcase of 120 startups across 13 frontier sectors.

From the labs of IIT Guwahati to the global innovation stage: Quant Solar, an IITG Technology Incubation Centre (IITG-TIC) incubated startup, represented India’s innovation ecosystem at the inaugural edition of Bharat Innovates, held in Nice, France, from 14 to 16 June 2026 — a global showcase featuring 120 startups across 13 frontier sectors, selected from institutions across the country.
Research, ready for the world
Quant Solar’s presence reflected the growing strength of IIT Guwahati’s research and innovation ecosystem, and the readiness of its startups to compete internationally. At IITG-TIC, the work is to turn research into market-ready technologies that address global challenges in clean energy, climate resilience and sustainability.
Beyond the showcase
Bharat Innovates offered more than a stage. It opened conversations with European universities, research institutions, industry leaders, investors and policymakers — new avenues for technology validation, research collaboration, commercialisation and international market access.
Congratulations to the Quant Solar team on the milestone. It is the kind of moment IITG-TIC hopes to see repeated — more of its startups carrying Indian innovation to the world.
